Reviews the history of radioactive materials, properties of matter and radioactive materials, types of radiation exposure devices, radiation sources, and safety principles. Introduces the advantages and disadvantages of computed and digital radiographic equipment and techniques. Includes a variety of hands-on exercises that relate directly to industry practices.
