MUS 290 — Clinical Processes I

This course serves as an overview of the therapeutic use of music and is an introduction to the music therapy clinical process with cases that illustrate clinical competencies contained in the American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) Professional Competencies document. Assessment, treatment planning, clinical observation, data collection, session design, evaluation, and documentation will be covered.

Prerequisites: MUS 121, MUS 122, MUS 190
