AUT 316 — Maintenance & Light Repair
Introduces the inspection and service of vehicle systems commonly addressed during maintenance and light repair operations. Students learn to perform scheduled maintenance, inspect vehicle systems, diagnose basic concerns, and service components such as fluids, filters, belts, hoses, gaskets, seals, and fasteners according to manufacturer specifications. Emphasis is placed on the use of electronic service information to verify service intervals, specifications, and procedures, as well as on the development of safe work practices, professional behavior, and foundational skills required for entry-level automotive service technicians.
Prerequisites: AUT 317, AUT 319
