PNUR 175 - Medical Surgical Nursing PNUR 175 - Medical Surgical Nursing Combines the nursing process, clinical judgment, and assessment skills to plan care and nursing interventions for clients in medical-surgical settings. Studies the care of patients with disorders of the integumentary, musculoskeletal, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, urinary, endocrine, reproductive, visual, auditory, neurological, and immune systems. Blood and lymphatic disorders, HIV/AIDS, and cancer are also discussed. Clinical opportunities are provided for application of knowledge into practice. (PCS 1.2, 8 credit hours - 4 hours lecture, 12 hours lab)
