PACT 122 - Math for the Trades PACT 122 - Math for the Trades Presents mathematics in the practical context of the trades. Students develop study skills in math including review of arithmetic skills as they apply to career problems. The course covers fractions, rounding, scientific notation, decimal fractions, ratios, proportions, percentages, averages, estimates, graphic representation, basic operations on algebraic expressions, solving linear equations in one and two variables, graphing linear equations in two variables, and some practical geometry and trigonometry. (PCS 1.6, 4 credit hours - 4 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
