MUSI 196 - Minor Applied Music I MUSI 196 - Minor Applied Music I Provides music instruction for students who have to study a secondary instrument for degree requirements or for students who are not music majors but desire private instruction. The course includes one thirty minute lesson per week. A minimum of three practice hours per week is required. Attendance at applied student recitals and outside performances is mandatory. A final jury examination is required. The course may be repeated three times for up to a maximum of four credit hours. (PCS 1.1, 1 credit hour - 0.5 hours lecture, 3 hours lab)
