Provides instruction in retention policies and procedures, documentation, confidentiality issues, and legal and regulatory aspects of the medical record. Explores career areas and opportunities related to health information management and medical coding. (PCS 1.2, 3 credit hours - 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
