EDUC 236 - Language Development & Acquisition EDUC 236 - Language Development & Acquisition Focuses on the developmental milestones and theory of communication development from birth through school age for typically developing children and children with disabilities. Emphasizes the identification and characteristics of developmental and acquired communication disorders. The course will also develop an understanding of the effects of cultural and linguistic diversity on language development. (PCS 1.1, 3 credit hours - 3 hours lecture, 0 hours lab)
