CHM 221 — Organic Chemistry I
This is the first course in a two -semester sequence. Topics in this course include nomenclature, structure, physical and chemical properties, synthesis, and typical reactions for organic compounds with special emphasis on reaction mechanisms, and stereo - chemistry. Laboratory is required.
Prerequisites: CHM 112
