Provides an introduction to fundamental graphic design techniques and tools used in the design and development of 2D graphical user interfaces (GUIs). Explores concepts such as document setup, resolution and dpi, file types and formats, compression techniques, color modes and considerations, interface layout and visual hierarchy, stylistic choices for interfaces and interaction, wireframes and mockups, typography, simulation, and perspective drawing.
