SIGN 271 - Advanced Sign to Voice SIGN 271 - Advanced Sign to Voice 3 Credit Hour(s) / 3 Billing Hour(s) This course provides advanced skill development and fluency in voicing for a variety of dDeaf individuals in diverse settings. Techniques taught are voice projection, breathing and relaxation, analysis of sign information, anticipation and prediction, closure, modality switching, correction, decalage, and pacing. Designed for students intending to become sign language interpreters. Student must complete eighty practicum hours and satisfy the individual category requirements during the semester. Semesters pring 5 in SIGN 270 Placement Scores: Reading Level 5 and Writing Level 4 Course Note: Student must have completed eighty practicum hours prior to taking SIGN 271
