PHOT 111 - Digital Photography I PHOT 111 - Digital Photography I 3 Credit Hour(s) / 3 Billing Hour(s) An introduction to photographic technology on both a theoretical and practical level. The student will learn camera types and related equipment, exposure controls, creative controls, and beginning and intermediate digital darkroom skills including correcting and enhancing digital images and preparing files for output on printing devices using image editing. This course is the introductory course in the Photographic Imaging Technology Program. Semesters all A manually-adjustable Digital SLR/or mirrorless camera capable of shooting raw format is required. Adobe Lightroom software is used. Online, Hybrid, and ORT students are required to have semester-long access to Adobe Lightroom Classic to complete their assignments. Students have access to these in the Learning Commons Computer Lab located in the TLC building. See official syllabus.
