MEDA 135 - MA Pharmacology & Med Math MEDA 135 - MA Pharmacology & Med Math 2 Credit Hour(s) / 2 Billing Hour(s) In this class the student medical assistant will learn about the different classifications of drugs and the most commonly used medications, how to calculate dosages for proper administration, the parts of a prescription, common abbreviations, and how to use proper drug references. Semesters all Prerequisite(s): Program Approval is required Placement Scores: Reading Level 5 and Writing Level 4 and Math Skills Level 10 (College-Ready with Support) Corequisite(s): MEDA 110A and MEDA 156A Course Note: Minimum age of 18 required to enroll in this course
