MATH 260 - Linear Algebra MATH 260 - Linear Algebra 4 Credit Hour(s) / 4 Billing Hour(s) General Education Category: MTA Mathematics This introduction to linear algebra includes the study of systems of linear equations, vector equations, linear independence, determinants, matrix algebra, vector spaces and subspaces, dimension of a vector space, rank, linear transformations, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, diagonalization, inner products, orthogonal sets, and the Gram-Schmidt process, with applications. Semesters pring 0 in MATH 152 within 2 years Placement Scores: Reading Level 5 and Writing Level 6 Course Note: This course includes on-site proctored exam(s) for all online sections. Students will need to travel to an LCC campus or request an approved non-LCC testing site (additional fees may apply) to take the exam(s). Graphing calculator required. TI-84 or TI-Nspire is recommended.
