LEGL 280 - Legal Studies Internship LEGL 280 - Legal Studies Internship 3 Credit Hour(s) / 3 Billing Hour(s) Students will experience the paralegal career by working in a supervised capacity. Placements include private law firms, governmental law offices, courts, corporations, and other law-related settings. Requirements include at least 160 hours in the workplace, weekly reports, periodic meetings, and performance evaluations by on-site supervisor. Semesters all, Spring, Summer Department Approval is required. Course Note: Department Approval requires a completed application submitted to the Legal Studies Program. Worksite placements must be discussed and assigned by the Legal Studies Lead Faculty.
