ESOL 099 - ESL Combined Skills Level 5 ESOL 099 - ESL Combined Skills Level 5 4 Credit Hour(s) / 4 Billing Hour(s) Advanced level non-native speakers of English will develop reading, vocabulary, and grammar skills for academic success. Students will use college-level texts to develop reading, writing, and critical skills. Emphasis on technology skills for academic work. Students should meet with an academic advisor to determine which concurrent enrollment options to select. Reading Level 5 and Writing Level 6 granted upon successful completion (exit competency 2.5). Semesters all, Spring 5 in ESOL 098 or Placement Scores noted below Placement Scores: (Reading Level 4 and Writing Level 4) or (ESOL Level 5) Corequisite(s): ENGL 121 ( ENGL 124 or ENGL 127 may be substituted with approval from the English Department) Course Note: None
