ELTE 108 - Practical Electricity I ELTE 108 - Practical Electricity I 2 Credit Hour(s) / 3 Billing Hour(s) ELTE is a foundational course in Direct Current electrical theory. Series, parallel and combination circuits are studied in class. Meters are used in lab to measure and confirm the relationships between voltage, current, resistance, and power in studied circuits. Semesters all, Spring, Summer 0 in (ELTE 102 or DCTM 102 or HVAC 102 or METS 102 or TECH 102 or WELD 102) or concurrently Placement Scores: Reading Level 3 and Writing Level 2 Course Note: ELTE 110 - Practical Electricity has been divided into two courses to allow more flexibility in scheduling. Each course covers half of the ELTE 110 content: ELTE 108 (Practical Electricity I) runs for the first half of the semester and covers the first half of the ELTE 110 content. ELTE 109 - Practical Electricity II runs for the last half of the semester and covers the remaining ELTE 110 content. Students who take both ELTE 108 and ELTE 109 will fulfill curriculum guide requirements that list ELTE 110 as a requirement.
