DENT 142 - PreClinical Dental Hygiene DENT 142 - PreClinical Dental Hygiene 3 Credit Hour(s) / 3 Billing Hour(s) This course is concurrently with DENT 144 to provide dental hygiene students with the introductory knowledge, skills and attitudes to function in the clinical setting and be able to continue in clinical dental hygiene courses. Emphasis is placed on scientific principles and current theory, prevention of disease transmission, ethical and professional treatment of patients, clinical learning preparation, and comprehensive care of the patient.
