CITA 110 - Intro to Microsoft Office CITA 110 - Intro to Microsoft Office 3 Credit Hour(s) / 3 Billing Hour(s) This course provides an introduction to MS Office. It is designed to develop basic operational proficiency while using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). Students learn how to use word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software. Topics include creating business letters, business memos, elementary spreadsheets, elementary database structures, and slide presentations. Semesters all, Spring, Summer They must also have Windows file management skills, including the ability to upload and download files, make folders, move and zip files. This course requires the use of a PC computer running Windows 11, 4GB Ram, High Speed Internet Connection 2 Mbit or higher, current version of Microsoft Office (see Materials section) and a MyLabIT account. Mac computers are not fully compatible and are not recommended. Equipment and software is provided for students that wish to complete assignments at the Main or West Campus computer labs. The LCC Library may offer laptops for check-out during the semester. Microsoft 365 is available to LCC students at no cost using links from the College website but may not have the full features needed to complete the work. **MyLabIT: You only need to purchase one MyLabIT Access Code from the BNC bookstore.
