CHSE 143 - Phlebotomy Technician CHSE 143 - Phlebotomy Technician 2 Credit Hour(s) / 3 Billing Hour(s) This course is designed to prepare a person to function as a phlebotomy technician. It will provide the knowledge and skill necessary to safely and skillfully ensure patient identification, obtain a blood sample from a patient, and properly handle specimens after collection. The course includes lecture and campus laboratory. Semesters all, Spring, Summer 2) Students will be charged a $50 fee for ACEMAPP required documentation/testing. The ACEMAPP fee covers both CHSE 143 and CHSE 144 if taken within the same calendar year.
