AUTM 180 - Intro to Alternative Fuels AUTM 180 - Intro to Alternative Fuels 2 Credit Hour(s) / 2 Billing Hour(s) Students will use various sources in the alternative fueled vehicle industry to learn what alternative fuels are available. Students will examine the need for alternative fuels including: Propane, Natural Gas, Ethanol and Biodiesel. Students will also learn about new technologies such as Electric Drive and Hydrogen fueled vehicles as well as Fuel Economy and Idle Reduction considerations.
