ARTS 162 - Type Communications ARTS 162 - Type Communications 3 Credit Hour(s) / 4 Billing Hour(s) An introduction to the utilization of type in a variety of visual communications with an emphasis on creativity and problem solving. Students will be introduced to the tools and techniques of manual and digital type formatting in professional type layout for print and web purposes. Semesters all, Spring 5 in ARTS 102 or concurrently Placement Scores: Reading Level 5 and Writing Level 6 Course Note: Online, Hybrid, and ORT students are required to have semester-long access to Adobe Illustrator CC. Students have access to this software in the LCC TLC Computer Lab.
