Individualized study of percussion techniques and theory: Rhythmic notation, fundamentals of snare performance, fundamentals of 3-line notational instruments, introduction to keyboard-percussion instruments, introduction to world percussion instruments, introduction to orchestral percussion; progressive development of skills needed for solo performance; achievement is evaluated through a juried performance.
