NUR 1069 - Transition into Practical Nursing NUR 1069 - Transition into Practical Nursing Formerly NUR 169 Facilitates the transition into the role of the practical nurse with emphasis on distinguishing the practical nurses defined scope of practice related to clinical practice, communication, nursing process, ethical/legal issues and leadership skills. The student practices in the role of the practical nurse in the associated clinical experience. 5 Credits (2 credits theory = 30 , 2 credits clinical = 90 ). This course will be necessary only if the student decides to apply for the NCLEX-PN Licensure Examination.
