HIT 1011 - Health Data Management and Information Systems HIT 1011 - Health Data Management and Information Systems Formerly HIT 111 Introduces the practice of maintenance, compilation, analysis, and presentation of healthcare statistical data. Discussion is focused on the use, collection, presentation, and verification of health care data including fundamental concepts of descriptive statistics; data validity and reliability; data presentation techniques; and vital statistics. Introduces the electronic health record (EHR), health informatics and the infrastructure required for the EHR. Data reliability and validity will be emphasized.
