Discussion is focused on the use, collection, presentation, and verification of health care data including fundamental concepts of descriptive statistics; data validity and reliability; data presentation techniques; and vital statistics. Introduces the electronic health record (EHR), health informatics and the infrastructure required for the EHR. Data reliability and validity will be emphasized.
