The course addresses licensing rules, regulations, and practice standards and guidelines. It examines professional competencies, boundaries, ethical relationships, reporting violations, and supervision. The course emphasizes ethical delivery of culturally-responsive and trauma-informed care. It builds on the Ethical Practice in Addiction Treatment training and clinical supervision training. This course meets the requirements of the Behavioral Health Administration (BHA) for the Certified Addiction Counseling (CAC) clinical training program.
