This introductory course covers the fundamental principles, techniques, and ethical considerations related to educational research and assessment. Students will explore the action research cycle and learn how to ethically use empirical evidence and assessments to guide practice. It is strongly advised that students complete a research methods or statistics course before enrolling in this course. Prerequisites: EDUC 101
