MUSC 2850 — Lakeland Civic Orchestra (TAG) 1 Credit
This course provides students with the experience of participating in a community-service orchestral performance group sponsored by Lakeland. The course places emphasis on orchestral literature from various historical periods and on the musical development of the individual. At least two years of high school-level orchestral performance are recommended prior to joining the orchestra, and placement in the ensemble will be determined by audition during or before the first rehearsal as determined by the director. Students may take this course up to four times for credit.
