MUSC 1850 — Jazz Improvisation 2 Credits

Through in-class performances, this course introduces and explores jazz composition and improvisation techniques related to style, rhythm, phrasing, harmony, form, and melodic creativity. Students should possess at least an intermediate level of general performance ability. Students may take this course up to two times for credit.
