MUSC 1030 — Group Guitar I 1 Credit

This introductory course in music reading and guitar playing is geared to a group approach. It includes beginning techniques for developing skills of harmonizing melodies, improvising, and identifying small intervals (up to the fifth). Students will provide their own instruments, although a basic acoustic folk guitar will be sufficient for the course.
