HST121 — History of Western Civ to 1500
This course is a historical survey of the West from the ancient civilizations of Egypt, Greece and Rome through the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Emphasis is placed on the political, economic, social, cultural, and intellectual forces that shaped the development of Western Civilization.
