ESC125 — Geology of the National Parks

This introductory course is designed for students and community members who are interested in learning about the geologic features of national parks. No previous Geology or Earth Science knowledge is necessary. Topics include: Earth's materials (minerals and rocks), history of the Earth, the formation and evolution of North America, various dynamic features related to the plate interactions, and exploring the various surface environments of the national parks.
