Have you ever wanted to capture an experience in writing? In this class, you will explore the memoir form through readings, discussions, and practicing writing your own short memoir essays or chapters for a longer project. Each student will have the opportunity to workshop their work and revise it for instructor feedback. Discuss great writers such as Joan Didion, Mary Karr, Anne Lamott, Alison Bechdel, Barack and Michelle Obama.
