CEXP5 — STEAM Back Stage (Gr. 6-8)
NEW Camp! What happens behind the scenes at a theatre? How does theatre fit into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math? Join us to discover the technical aspects behind presenting a show. Learn the basics of fly rigging, audio, lighting and stage management in this hands-on class. The lessons will culminate in a mock rehearsal and ‘performance’. Enjoy many more activities that will have you convinced that STEAM and theatre go hand-in-hand! Camp will be held in the James Lumber Center for the Performing Arts.
