This camp is the second part of the road trip experience and builds on the planning skills developed in Travel Project. Students will focus on the financial side of travel by creating a realistic budget for their road trip. Campers will calculate and compare costs related to transportation, fuel, food, lodging, and entertainment, learning how choices impact overall expenses. Students will practice making financial decisions, adjusting plans to stay within a budget, and understanding the importance of planning ahead. By the end of the camp, students will complete a full road trip budget and strengthen their financial literacy, math, and decision-making skills in a practical, real-world context. This camp is Part 2 of the Travel Project experience and builds on the planning skills developed in Travel Project: Plan the Perfect Road Trip (Part 1). Students should complete Part 1 before enrolling in this camp.
