SURG 225 — CLINICAL II
The clinical course consists of 360 hours of surgical technology practice in operating room settings at hospitals around the Midwe st region. Students will apply knowledge of surgical techniques and procedures, equipment, instruments, and supplies and increasingly develop skills. Students will also continue to build on the number of surgical cases needed to complete the Surgical Technology program at Lake Area Tech. Students will complete the following Surgical Specialties units as a self-study: Cardiothoracic, Oral Maxillofacial, Ophthalmic, Otorhinolaryngology, and Plastics and reconstructive. 6 credits
