SCO 100 — INTRODUCTION TO SOCIOLOGY *

Sociology offers a comprehensive study of society with an analysis of group life and other forces shaping human behavior. This course introduces students to the study of human society with an emphasis on basic concepts and processes including social organization, culture, social class, social change, and an appreciation of diverse cultures.
