LE 135 — CRIMINAL LAW PROCEDURES

This course covers the origins of current law in relationship to the role of law enforcement today. The criminal code from a constitutional basis as well as that found in South Dakota Codified Law Titles 22, 23, and 23A, will be covered. Students will become familiar with proper trial preparation, conduct, and demeanor as it relates to the law enforcement officer. 3 credits
