CIS 260 — UNIX OS ADMINISTRATION

This course is an introduction to the Unix paradigm, the Linux operating system and methods of interacting and administering a Linux system. This course focuses on core administration tasks and provides a foundation for students to master command-line concepts and enterprise- level tools. Students will learn the necessary steps to install, manage, configure, and customize the system. Students will build the skills needed by an RHCSA-certified Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administrator. 4 credits
