CCT 100 — GUIDING CHILDREN’S BEHAVIOR

In this course, students will learn how to become proficient in recognizing the natural progression of children’s emotional and social behavior, become proactive in teaching children the skills needed to develop self-control and problem-solving abilities in accordance with their developmental level. Students will learn and practice the skills needed to teach children to develop socially appropriate behavior in order to allow them to develop self-esteem, develop strong friendships and treat others with dignity and respect throughout their lifetime. 2 credits
