GAD 203 — GAME TECHNOLOGIES AND GAME SYSTEMS

3.00 Units (Lec 2 Hrs / Lab 2 Hrs) Transfer Credit: CSU, UC Prerequisite: GAD103 Students will develop a fundamental understanding of how the technical aspects of Unreal Engine are applied to the development of games. Topics will include animation construction, playable char- acters, HUD development and event triggers. Students will design a game and make a basic prototype in Unreal Engine. The basic prototype will include a major feature, a minor feature, as well as a level mechanic.
