3.00 Units (Lec 2 Hrs / Lab 3 Hrs) Transfer Credit: CSU, UC, C-ID (ITIS 165) This course introduces the concepts of Computer Forensics and how forensic techniques are used in the investigative process. Top - ics include the analytical and investigative techniques to identify, collect, examine, and preserve evidence/information which is mag - netically stored or encoded. Also covered is the recovery, analysis, and presentation of computer-based information in a way that ensures the integrity and security of data so that it can be used as evidence in a court of law.
