BIO 240 - Forensic DNA Biology BIO 240 - Forensic DNA Biology 3.00 credits Lecture with lab course focusing on forensic DNA analysis. Emphasis placed on analysis of PCR products resolved via capillary electrophoresis-the STRs Loci of CODIS and the SNPs of mtDNA for the assessment of identity, ethnic origin, and maternal lineage. Recommended: High school biology in the last 7 years. Corequisite: BIO 240L
