ART 102 - Intro to Art History: Visual Arts ART 102 - Intro to Art History: Visual Arts 3.00 credits This course is an introduction to Western visual art from antiquity to 1945. Students learn a perspective of history through its visual footprint and gain an understanding of the changing purpose of art and the role of artists in relation to their social and cultural contexts.
