Instructional focus includes: fuel performance, air-fuel mixtures, general fuel system diagnosis/service, fuel delivery and open/closed loop carburetor theory, pre-OBDII system standards, system components, system sensors, outputs and actuators, system function, terms, diagnostic scan tools and computerized carburetor system operation, diagnosis and function testing. Students develop troubleshooting/repair techniques by utilizing structured diagnostic stratagems.
