WT 128 - Oxyfuel Welding/Cutting WT 128 - Oxyfuel Welding/Cutting Lab: 2 hours of lab per week. The theory and practice of oxy-acetylene welding, braze welding and cutting. Safe and correct set up and handling of oxy-acetylene equipment will be covered. Butt Joints and Fillets will be brazed in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions on 1/16” and 1/8” mild steel material. Butt Joints and Fillets will be welded autogenously in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions on 1/16” and 1/8” mild steel material. Butt Joints and Fillets will be welded with filler rod in the flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions on 1/16” and 1/8” mild steel material. 3/8” and 1/4” mild steel will be oxygen cut.
