PHL 200 - Ethics PHL 200 - Ethics A study of philosophical theories and principles related to the question, “How should one live?” This course looks closely at the arguments for moral relativism, the relationship between religion and morality, selfishness and altruism, duty, and virtue. Students will also encounter various contemporary moral issues, such as euthanasia, the treatment of non-human animals, and poverty as they attempt to apply moral theories to particular moral situations.
