The first of a two-semester sequence; the first semester covers the nature of life, organization of the human body, cell chemistry and metabolism, the integumentary system, histology, the skeletal and muscular systems, and the nervous system including the special senses. Placement into MTH 12000 or MTH 20600 ; high school chemistry is recommended but not mandatory. (Science Credit)
