Semester Credit Hour(s): 3 Lecture Hour(s) Each Week: 2 Lab Hour(s) Each Week: 3 Examine overall security processes with particular emphasis on hands-on skills in the following areas: security policy design and management; security technologies; products and solutions; firewall and secure router design, installation, configuration, and maintenance; AAA and VPN implementation using routers and firewalls. Practice network, segmentation and access controls; examine security incident reporting and perform log analysis. Students prepare for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam.
