RAE 150 — Elementary Chinese I
Introduces basic modes of communication in Chinese. Stresses speaking, listening, reading and writing as target skills. Emphasizes everyday language which the students will learn by applying essential grammatical structures to vocabulary. Presents an overview of the cultures of China. Lecture: 4 credits (60 contact hours).
